MEL’S IN THE VILLAGE OZAUKEE SENIORS ALL-STAR SOFTBALL GAME

Festivities at Mel’s in the Village at Village Park in Thiensville included the annual senior all-star softball game featuring players ages 55 and up from the Ozaukee Senior Softball League. Scheduled to represent Team Grafton were Dave Armstrong, Ken Artz, Steve Biedenbender, Brian Bintzler, Keith Kassens, Dave Kelley, Bob Kloehn, Ron Kronforst, Dennis Loberger, Joe Megan, Mark Rennicke, Dave Smith, Todd Welhouse and Rod Wilterdink, and the team was coached by Rick Port and Richard Schmitt.They were opposed by Team Ozaukee. Members expected to be part of that squad included Buddy Barnes, Mark Binverse, Willie Bishop, Frank Brezovar, Brad Dorn, Jeff Dornburg, Geoff Pauers, Sid Prom, Mark Reinhardt, Jim Schroeder, Rich Rodriquez and John Sperber, and the club was coached by Bob Guse and Jim Newton.
