Mel’s Village

Making Every Life Special

Creating an inclusive community that meets the needs of disabled people has been a long-term dream of Mel’s Charities. That dream is becoming a reality as Mel’s Village develops in the south campus of the 99-acre Northern Gateway Community Collective in Saukville. Mel’s Village will provide a place for people of all abilities to live, work, play, and thrive.

Construction is underway at both the north and south campuses.

Stay tuned for more updates on this game-changing development.

Mel’s Village will feature a public plaza with splash pad, a band shell and community green space.

25% of the market-rate apartments will be set aside for people with disabilities. Retail businesses in Mel’s Village will hire these residents.
