CEDARBURG — Mel’s Charities celebrated its 23 years of Great Times for Great Causes with its annual pig roast held Sunday, Sept. 12 at Cedars III in Cedarburg. By far one of Mel’s Charities’ larger fundraising events, Mel’s Pig Roast featured an afternoon of food, fun and prizes.

Held in a 6,000-square-foot tent on the Cedars III grounds, pig roast guests were not only treated to food and drinks but also football and baseball on several big screen TVs. Above right, Guests checked out their raffle ticket numbers hoping to win one of Mel’s famous raffle bags. Below right, Mel’s Charities ambassadors (l-r) Ross Rintelman, Robert and Donald Kolenko and Aaron Gresch along with Tom Stanton, draw tickets from a bucket picking winners for prizes such as 50-yard line Packers tickets, a 70 inch big screen TV and a beer kegerator.
