The dealership selected Mel’s Charities, Inc. as the 2023-24 Hometown Charity recipient. From November 16, 2023, until January 2, 2024, Sommer’s and Subaru contributed a total of $325 to Mel’s Charities for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased.

Grant Sommer commented, “We’ve known about the great work Mel’s Charities has done throughout Ozaukee County over the years, so we were very pleased to designate them as the Hometown Charity in the Share the Love Event. This latest event raised $46,550 for Mel’s, a new record.  It really shows the impact Mel’s Charities has on our community.”

“We have been blessed through the years to have great partnerships with local businesses, such as Sommer’s Subaru, who share our goal to impact lives in Ozaukee County,” said Tom “Mel” Stanton, Executive Director of Mel’s Charities. “We’d also like to thank all the Sommer’s customers who selected us during this event.”
