MILWAUKEE — Sterling Law Offices ran a fundraiser during the month of March and raised a grand total of $25,737 for the local nonprofit Mel’s Charities, greatly surpassing its $10,000 donation goal. Over 250 donors participated in this digital fundraiser where 100% of the proceeds were donated to the special needs community in Ozaukee County.
Raising money for charity is part of Sterling Law Offices’ greater vision to empower families and the surrounding community. This year, Sterling wanted to invest in an organization that personally impacted one of their employees’ lives and selected Mel’s Charities founded by Tom “Mel” Stanton, husband to Sterling’s paralegal Nancy Stanton.
“It’s an honor to team up with Mel’s Charities and make a difference in the surrounding community. Our mission doesn’t end with serving family law clients but rather begins with touching the lives of our friends, families, associates, and those around us,” stated Tony Karls, Sterling Law Offices Co-Founder.
This fundraiser is just one of Sterling Law Offices’ investments in the Ozaukee community as they already serve Ozaukee County through their local branch. Currently, Sterling’s family law attorneys practice throughout the state of Wisconsin in 20 office locations.
