During the Month of March to Raise $10,000!!!
Sterling Law Offices selects one charity every quarter to fundraise for in honor of its core pillar to empower clients, families, and the local community.
This year, Sterling wanted to invest in an organization that personally impacted one of their employees’ lives. Paralegal Nancy Stanton is wife to Tom “Mel” Stanton, founder of Mel’s Charities. This foundation is near and dear to Tom and Nancy’s lives who have watched this organization grow significantly over the last 20 years.

The Story Behind Mel’s Charities:
Mel’s Charities has grown from a once-a-year pig roast to a large charitable organization. We now have events around the calendar by partnering with local businesses and individuals. Our events have raised over $1.4 million in grants to support special needs, human service organizations as well as memorial scholarships.
The best part— Mel’s charities lives by “what we raise here stays here”. This means 100% of the proceeds will go directly to helping local nonprofits.
